DescriptionWe are searching for a proactive, agile People Business Partner to support and partner with Digital Catapult on all things People-related. We’re looking for someone with proven experience as a People / HR Business Partner within fast-paced, dynamic environments. You’ll be partnering with our employees across the organisation to support on all aspects of the employee life-cycle whilst supporting the growth and professionalism of Digital Catapult through our exciting People initiatives and programmes.
WHAT YOU’LL DO (Duties)
- Support the growth and professionalisation of Digital Catapult through People initiatives and programmes, whilst championing diversity and inclusion in all aspects of your work.
- Ensure excellent service delivery and administration of all employee life-cycle processes such as on-boarding and induction of new hires, answering compensation & benefits queries, policy queries and managing leavers, including conducting exit interviews.
- Partner with line managers to identify and address any people-related issues and provide solutions around talent attraction, retention and development; absence and performance management; employee turnover; employee relations cases.
- Deliver on people data related reporting as needed, utilising this to inform decision making and as a measurement of added value.
- Collaborate closely with colleagues in the team on topics related to Compensation & Benefits, Learning & Development and Talent & Recruitment.
RequirementsWHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR (Experience)
- Proven, experienced People Partner/ HR Business Partner within vibrant, fast paced, changing environments. Working effectively as part of a strong, collaborative team, also with the ability to work independently / autonomously and form and build successful, positive working relationships at all levels across the organisation.
- A strong interest in and experience of supporting organisations through change initiatives to grow and mature.
- Detailed and proven experience of working with People processes, data, reporting and systems (Sage People, DocuSign, Kallidus highly advantageous).
- High attention to detail and data accuracy along with confident presentation and communication skills.
- Strong sense of ownership, systematic and proactive in approach, with a drive and determination to solve problems and take tasks through to completion.
- Eagerness to mentor and lead more junior team members and help to build their skills and experience.
