POSITION OVERVIEW
We are looking for a highly motivated and professional HR and Resources Manager to support the business and build a leading company culture underpinned by best practice frameworks. This role will provide ‘hands-on’ support to the EMEA business across all people and culture matters while ensuring alignment with practices in the USA and Asia Pacific. This role will lead the talent acquisition, people management, systems and processes for the EMEA business and will work closely with the EGM, EMEA, the General Counsel and the HR & Experience teams across the globe.
The role is either based in our central London office or requires a regular presence in the London office.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Talent Acquisition
· Enhance and streamline the recruitment and onboarding processes.
· Implement PMY’s strategy to assist in attracting top talent.
· Lead the recruitment and selection process for new roles, including processing applications, conducting reference checks, verifying qualifications, participating in interviews and notifying those not selected for employment.
· Oversee the onboarding of new employees.
People Management
· Handle routine people-related inquiries and provide a high level of service and support to the EMEA business.
· Manage activities around performance management, misconduct and grievance, as required.
· Manage employee feedback and reporting, as required.
· Manage the processes for departing employees.
· Implements and manages career’s management programs
· Provide coaching and support for line managers on all aspects of people management
Resources Management
· Own the resources pool both for employees as for external resources and oversee the allocation of resources across projects ensuring optimal skills and business fit.
· Ensure proper resources pool is available and active to support growth activities.
· Ensures processes are in place to ensure people’s compliance with the different region requirements regarding employment, health and safety, etc.
· Promotes initiatives to implement CSR at people level
· Ensures liaison with different local Counsel experts in region to address compliance in all HR legal aspects.
Systems and Processes
· Oversee employee HR documentation, including but not limited to the Employee Handbook and policies, pre-employment documents (resume, application, job descriptions, offer letters, interview notes, etc.), post-employment documents (background checks, employment agreements, success plans, performance evaluations, etc.), and all other documents.
· Work with department and group leaders to guide and assist in relation to employee HR needs and best practices.
· Ensure compliance with laws and regulations across all EMEA offices.
· Oversee the HR platform (Employment Hero) and ensure accurate and up-to-date human resources files, records and documentation.
· Assist with the integration of systems and processes to align with global policies and practices, and deliver continual improvement of these systems, policies and procedures.
· Review and update key policies and procedures to meet legislative and business requirements.
Culture
· Create, organise and manage in-house initiatives to promote staff well-being, with the support of the Staff and Office Manager.
· Plan and manage staff engagement activities to connect our office-based and remote workers.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
· 6+ years’ experience in managing an HR function.
· Tertiary qualified in Management, Commerce, Business or related discipline.
· Proven experience in talent acquisition, people management and implementing policies and procedures.
· Proved general understanding of EMEA region labor principles and regulations.
· Proficient in Microsoft Office – Outlook, Word, Excel & PowerPoint and experience with HR systems.
· Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport quickly and to manage sensitive and confidential situations with tact, professionalism, and diplomacy.
· Excellent time management skills, highly organised and excellent attention to detail.
· Excellent communication and presentation skills.
· A strong work ethic, desire to improve and learn new skills.
· Ability to efficiently prioritise many competing requests and juggle multiple demands.
· Professional, reliable, adaptable and a ‘no excuses’ approach to work.
