We are looking for an experienced HR Manager / HR Business Partner to join our team in Ratingen, DE.

Summary Main Tasks:

• Management of the human resources department
• Operational and strategic HR work such as headcount planning, support, development, terminations
• Contract design
• Advising General Management and Supervisors on labor law, social law and disciplinary issues, as well as supervising development appraisal and target meetings
• Cooperation with the works council and collective bargaining parties
• Development and implementation of company agreements, personnel systems, guidelines and other regulations
• Management of administrative processes in the area of human resources (payroll accounting, personnel cost planning, controlling, budget preparation)
• Representation of the company in labor court proceedings
• Build commitment amongst leadership towards the performance management program and develops/executes performance solutions in alignment with organizational values
• Identify opportunities for ways of working, policies, procedures, and programs to develop long term strategies regarding employee engagement and retention
• Ensure the Company is following corporate and legal requirements for the assigned business groups

Critical Competencies

• Experience in policy management, employee relations, performance management, organizational change and compliance
• Strong business acumen, in-depth knowledge of the business and client group, and the ability to effectively implement HR strategies to support business goals
• Strong knowledge of compliance and policy development and implementation
• Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to influence at all levels of organization
• Excellent communication skills both internally & externally; one on one and in group settings
• Ability to provide coaching and guidance to leaders on a variety of performance related situations or circumstances

Education / Qualifications:

• Completed business administration/commerce studies or comparable training, e.g. human resources specialist with at least 10 years of professional experience
• Several years of professional experience in the field of HR leadership roles
• Expertise in the areas of labor law, payroll tax law, social security law, data protection
• Entrepreneurial thinking, self-motivation, systematic approach to work, negotiation skills, assertiveness and persuasiveness
• Very good English skills, native German
