This is a fixed term contract position until end of 2025.

Purpose:

The Senior Manager, People Business Partnering role delivers and implements core People initiatives/projects, the People Function vision, and the one LSEG ambition, by partnering with senior leaders for the Sales & Account Management (SAM) organization.

Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities:

  • Drives the People agenda ensuring people leaders are equipped to effectively deliver against ongoing people leadership responsibilities
  • Learns the business to design and drive key talent actions
  • Partners with senior leaders to deliver the People strategy and deliver on the Sales & Account Management key strategic priorities
  • Challenges the business and makes strategic recommendations, working through the people implications and balancing business impact
  • Delivers and implements core People initiatives by partnering on projects/initiatives; talent acquisition, employee engagement, EDI strategy, performance and reward framework, succession planning, and talent management
  • Co-creates with the COEs, and business partnering colleagues to ensure People programs and initiatives are communicated, understood and implemented consistently across the business
  • Uses analysis of data and provides key insights that drive organizational effectiveness and drive improvements in the operating model
  • Diagnoses issues in the business and recommends interventions (top performer retention, organizational restructuring, location strategy)
  • Drives continuous transformation and ensures that the LSEG culture and Leadership Expectations behaviors are embedded in the day-to-day business operation
  • Leads annual compensation review, talent review, succession planning, coaching and 360 feedback

Skills/Experience: 

  • Experience working in the financial services industry and in a global and complex organization, ideally supporting a sales division
  • Strategic thinker able to resolve complex issues, problem solve, and add business value
  • Results oriented approaching work with a sense of urgency
  • Strong organizational/planning, project management skills required to meet key deliverables
  • Able to work independently with minimal direction to set priorities
  • Ability to coach and influence people leaders 
  • Demonstrates effective communication and problem-solving skills with a customer centric mentality
  • Able to use HR technical skills, using Power BI dashboards, Microsoft Office and Workday
  • Knowledge of HR policies and procedures
  • The ability to set priorities and be flexible in order to thrive in a changing environment
