Here at GXO, we are currently recruiting for a HR Manager to join our team in Dartford (DA1 5FD), supporting our customer Sainsbury’s. As a HR Manager you will be facilitating a harmonious employee relation with the site teams and the respective Trade Union representatives to ensure optimum working efficiency within the operation while integrating HR practices, embedding our values and commitments.

 

This is a full time, permanent on site position, predominately working Monday – Friday, 08:00 – 16:00 with flexibility on start and finish times.

 

Pay, benefits and more:

 

We’re looking to offer a salary of up to £52,000.00 per annum, and 25 days annual leave (plus bank holidays). What you’ll do on a typical day:

 

  • Build and drive the site HR people plan to support our overall business plan and develop our employee relations agenda
  • Carry out the proactive development of line management capability through formal training, coaching and guidance on all HR related activities
  • Provide full HR generalist support and advice to managers and employees to ensure current knowledge of employee legislation
  • Facilitate harmonious employee relations with the site teams and respective trade union representatives to ensure optimum working efficiency within the operation

 

What you need to succeed at GXO:

 

  • Demonstrable experience in a similar HR management role, preferably in an operational environment, with exposure of dealing with trade unions
  • A proven track record in change management and the ability to drive HR transformation
  • Strong interpersonal, leadership, coaching and motivational skills
  • An organised, data-focused and conscientious approach to your work
