HR Generalist

 

Our client, who is an industry leading, multi-site organisation, is seeking a HR Generalist for their Belfast site! This is a permanent role within the organisation and the successful candidate will enjoy playing a key role within the HR team, being responsible for providing HR guidance to managers and employees across the organisation. With opportunities to work from home following a probationary period, this  role provides flexibility for candidates who are located outside the Belfast area.

The Role:

  • Act as the primary point of contact for HR related queries, providing guidance on company policies, procedures and best practices.
  • Assist managers with employee relations issues including disciplinary actions, grievances and performance improvement plans.
  • Support the Absence and performance management processes
  • Promote and assist with wellbeing initiatives and HR projects eg employee engagement
  • Assist with continuous improvement processes and policy development
  • Oversee onboarding and offboarding processes and ensuring all HR systems are kept up to date.

 

The Person:

  • 2-3 years’ minimum experience in a Human Resources Officer/Generalist role (essential)
  • Working towards or be CIPD qualified (Desirable)
  • Strong understanding of HR practices and employment regulations (essential)
  • Willing to travel to different sites on an ad-hoc basis
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal and organisational skills
